Can do prototype with LCD screen (an old android phone or tablet that's easy to flip over the screen and ideally remove backlight, doesn't have to be high density for now, although to miniaturize final version should), measure temperature with non-contact thermometer, and might need to use webcam shell & lens so that it's in focus.
In need of simple, non-blocking, open source library for stepper acceleration with Arduino. AccelStepper has been ehhhh. Anyone happen to know of another option? For the arduino code for the driver, im going to be using AccelStepper Library. This is an amazing library that I use for all my stepper needs now. It is even does acceleration and deceleration, supports multiple drivers at once, and most importantly it is non blocking.

There is a stop option in continuous move mode already and that seems to work reasonably well. (there is a sketch for MySensors v2 available) I received my 110v-230v AC to Mysensors PCB board last week en spent a few hours this weekend making 2 wall mounted mood lights.. If you do not need that and you want to do a linear logic (move, then do something, then move), you could do that with a blocking library -see my post above- and not have to check the status.
